McIntosh Middle School Screaming Eagles Band Boosters, Inc.

Positive things for the band program are in the air with the inception of the band boosters at MMS last year!  The first meeting of the school year for the executive board of the new banyd boosters was held Tuesday, 8/21.  Exciting information will be available to you soon regarding band uniforms, band t-shirts, volunteering opportunities, fundraising, concerts, events, field trips, band handbook, band activities calendar and more on our new band website.

Looking ahead:

October 27 -  FBA Marching Festival
MMS Concert and Symphonic Band performs. 

November 9  - Veteran's Day Celebration at MMS during the school day
Symphonic and Jazz Bands perform. 

December 11 at 7:00 PM  - Winter Concert at the Sarasota High School Auditorium
All MMS bands perform.

Volunteer opportunities to consider before our first meeting: 

Chaperone coordinator, phone tree coordinator, end of year banquet committee, fundraising coordinator, and transportation coordinator.  There will be opportunities to chaperone trips and events as well.  Remember you must be registered with the PALS system at school BEFORE you can volunteer.
